چکیده
Bacillus spp. can promote the growth of plants and reduce plant disease incidence or severity by triggering induced systemic resistance to pathogens. In addition, bacteria this genus are chitinase enzyme producers. Chitinase inhibits fungi breaking down chitin-containing cell wall pathogenic fungi. study, 270 native spp., isolated from various habitats in Kayseri Adana, Turkey, were screened PCR for gene 66 them found have gene. Nine thuringiensis (Bt) isolates showing high insecticidal activity against insect pests our previous studies selected containing Chitinases with different molecular weights ranging ~ 40 113 kDa determined SDS-PAGE. To determine antagonistic effects (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. niveum, Verticillium dahliae Aspergillus niger), a dual culture assay was used nine two standard strains Bt, radial inhibition calculated as percentage. Of all tested isolates, SY33.3 showed strongest thus, be an effective biological control agent

molecular screening and bioactivity of native bacillus thuringiensis isolates
bacillus thuringiensis strains were isolated from various soil samples collected from different regions of kahramanmaraş in turkey and were characterized by their colony morphology, pcr method with cryiab/ac, cryid, cry2 and cyt2 primers, and sds-page of crystal proteins with 130-140 and 60-70 kda molecular weights. plasmid profiles of selected isolates were also analyzed. among the cry genes s...

متن کاملDiffusible and Volatile Antifungal Compounds Produced by an Antagonistic Bacillus velezensis G341 against Various Phytopathogenic Fungi
The aim of this study was to identify volatile and agar-diffusible antifungal metabolites produced by Bacillus sp. G341 with strong antifungal activity against various phytopathogenic fungi. Strain G341 isolated from four-year-old roots of Korean ginseng with rot symptoms was identified as Bacillus velezensis based on 16S rDNA and gyrA sequences. Strain G341 inhibited mycelial growth of all phy...

Characterization of Bacillus thuringiensis soil isolates from Cuba, with insecticidal activity against mosquitoes.
Chemical insecticides may be toxic and cause environmental degradation. Consequently, biological control for insects represents an alternative with low ecological impact. In this work, three soil isolates (A21, A51 and C17) from different regions of the Cuban archipelago were identified, characterized and evaluated against Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. The new isolates were compared...
